Bourne to be...

When I first watched The Bourne Identity, I did it because I had a huge-ass crush on Matt Damon. Little did I know that that particular movie would fall under my particular cup of action-movie tea!

After the first movie I was ecstatic when I heard that a second Bourne movie was in the works. And when it came out, I was over the moon. It delivered the same action-pack thrill I experienced when watching the first one, and of course Karl Urban made for a hottie Russian corrupt-official-hitman-for-hire character.

When I heard that a third Bourne movie was coming out and I actually saw previews of it, I was way over the moon. Too bad I didn't get to see it in theaters when it came out this past summer. But nevertheless, the DVDs always good and as soon as it came out on DVD I bought it.

Jason Bourne is still on the run. He was still after the people who made him who he is now. The beginning of the third movie picked up right where the second movie ended -- after Jason left the Russian girl's home and was being hunted by Russian officials. From there it was a whirlwind ride from Russia to Italy to London to New York to Virginia to Spain and to Tangier in Morocco!

If you think James Bond goes everywhere, well, Jason Bourne does too. And there was another sub-story inserted here, which started when Jason ran in to Nicky Parsons in Spain. Remember Nicky who was left shaken after her encounter with Jason in Berlin in The Bourne Supremacy? Well this time...oh, I dunno. I got the feeling that there was something between Nicky and Jason in the past that our hero, of course, doesn't remember. But the end scene, when the anchorman was reporting on the outcome of Jason's "quest" (I won't be doing much spoiling here for those of you who haven't seen the movie yet) and how Nicky had that knowing smile when it was reported that Jason Bourne, aka David Webb, was no where to be found after he was reported seen jumping off a 10-storey high building and in to the river.

Will there be another Bourne movie added to the franchise? If it's the same man helming the movie and delivering the same type of action as the first three did, well, I can't wait to see it! Oh, and I wanna find out what's the scoop behind Jason and Nicky too. -LoL-
